Christmas Brand Campaign

Droga5 were briefed to create Amazon Music’s first major global brand campaign across TV, DOOH and social. The ask was to create brand cachet for a relatively less famous player for streamed music, in a market dominated by Spotify and with little differentiation between streaming platforms. 

We created an eclectic world of music waiting inside Amazon’s iconic delivery box showcasing the best genres from around the globe. Each genre inspired its own animation style, from anarchic claymation to anime-inspired J-Pop, all without taking its Christmas message too seriously. 

The ad was nominated for a British Arrow, picked up a Silver at the Creative Circle Awards, a merit at the One Show, a Staff Pick on Vimeo, a gold ANDY and a gold AICP, as well as featuring in Adweek.
